22 Jan Quiz Night Gain the admiration of your peers by putting all the random knowledge in your head to good use. Delight in recalling all those facts you learned at school, the inane sports trivia filling up precious brain cells, the years of watching Saturday night TV quiz shows, nuggets of news overhead while searching for a decent radio signal and from staring at road signs on long car journeys. Starts 7:30pm on Saturday 28th January 2012 Teams of up to 6 people £6 per head which includes fish & chip supper and can be paid on the night. First prize is £50 to spend behind the bar. 16 Jan Fitness training is back!! These excellent sessions ran by Mark Beeson are back on after the Christmas break. What better way to work off those mince pies?! Everyone and all fitness levels are welcome. Tuesdays 7-8pm in the Boys School old gymnasium (turn left before the stairs from the car park and it's the last door on your left) |

15 Jan Junior Success at Blueharts Throughout 2011 our junior players have trialled and gained a significant foothold within England Hockey’s single system. This is the player pathway to full national age-group squads at U16 and U18. Our boys and girls trialled for Junior Development Centres (JDC) at the end of last season and Blueharts had 37 juniors selected for what is county training on Sundays throughout the autumn. Of these, 23 have been selected into county squads at Junior Academy Centres (JAC) for more training this spring and county matches. Beyond this, Blueharts have 5 boys attending Junior Regional Performance Centres (JRPC) and as we know Robert Baxter made it to the top of the U15 tree and attended the High Performance Camp.
